Param Pavitra Bhagwa Dhwaj. A guru for not just Rashtra Sevika Samiti or Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh, but for all those who believe in their Matrubhumi and its pride. Today is Guru Purnima and on this auspicious day, we would like to pay our tribute to our Guru. Our Param Pavitra Bhagwa Dhwaj.
Many people have asked this question over the years, that why RSS chose Bhagwa Dhwaj as their Guru? Why not a person? But a Bhagwa Dhawj. The answer remains in the question only. Bhagwa Dhwaj is not something made by RSS or Hindu Sangathan. Bhagwa Dhwaj has been our guru for centuries. Bhagwa Dhwaj is a symbol of sacrifice, courage, and TEJ.
Bhagwa Dhwaj has always been there. When Bhagwan Shrikrishna became the “Sarthi” of Arjun’s Rath, Bhagwa Dhwaj was there on that Rath. Bhagwa Dhawaj represents Ram Rajya. From Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to Raja Krishnadev Rai, from Guru Gobind Singh to Maharaja Ranjit Singh, from Swami Ram Trith, Swami Dayanand, Maharshi Arvind, Swami Ram Krishna Paramhans, Swami Vivekanand, Bhagwa Dhwaj has always been the symbol of Victory, Courage, and Bravery, It has been a symbol of spirituality and positivity, prosperity and that’s why “Param Pavitra Bhagwa Dhwaj” is our Guru.
When Dr. Hedgewar established Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh on 27th September 1925 he chose Param Pavitra Bhagwa Dhwaj as our Guru. But it has always been there. Bhagwa Dhwaj inspires the youth of the Nation to walk on the path of courage and honestly, it encourages our youth to work for our nation and the Nation will always come first. “प्रथम राष्ट्र, द्वतीय संस्था, अंतिम मैं” “राष्ट्राय स्वाहा राष्ट्राय इदं न मम” Means First Nation, Second organization and last me. It is all for Nation nothing is for me. Bhagwa Dhawj teaches us this. And that’s why Param Pavitra Bhgawa Dhwaj is our guru.
Now the question again comes why RSS did not choose any person as Guru, but Param Pavitra Bhagwa Dhwaj?
Because RSS believes Bhagwa Dhwaj is “Atal”. As it is said, RSS does not worship any person because we cannot assure any person that he will remain firm on his path. But Bhagwa Dhwaj always will. Our guru will always be there to guide us, to remind us of our ultimate goal, which is A strong Nation with a Cultured society with values. Param Pavitra Bhagwa Dhwaj will always remind us of the selfless values that we need to build our nation. To make our nation “Vishwaguru Bharat”
Bhagwa Dhwaj is a symbol of our goals, dreams, and a new India that will follow the path given by our glorious history and culture. Bhagwa Dhwaj is our guru and will remain forever.
