Pictures of Hindu gods placed on toilet tiles in Sitapur

Lucknow, Jun 9: After a huge international protest against former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma’s remarks about Prophet Mohammed, an incident has taken place in UP’s Sitapur.

 

 

 

Pictures of Hindu gods were found on the toilet tiles in Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur village. 3 suspects have been arrested in the matter including former Village head Reshma and her husband Mohammad Buniyaad.

 

 

 

After the Gyanvapi survey was ordered by the court, the Hindu side claimed that a Shivling was found in the Gyanvapi mosque. Since then a barrage of vulgar and insulting jokes is being hurled at Hindu gods and goddesses, especially Lord Shiva and Shivling. The FIR which was registered against former BJP leaders like Nupur Sharma and Navin Jindal, also include the names of Saba Naqvi and Maulana Mufti Nadeem as well who publicly insulted Hindu gods on social media platforms like Twitter.

The incident of pictures of Hindu gods being placed on toilet tiles can be seen in the line of subsequent events of insulting Hindu gods after the Gyanvapi survey and the discovery of Shivling in the mosque.
