100 terrorists neutralized in Kashmir for the first half of 2022; 63 cadres martyred

Srinagar, Jun 13: For the year 2022, the security forces have killed 100 terrorists in Kashmir during the first half of the year. According to the official reports, during counter insurgency operations with Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist outfit, the armed forces also faced maximum loss as it lost 63 cadres.

 

 

 

 

According to an official report that came out on Monday (Jun 13), the security forces have eliminated 100 terrorists, ever since the beginning of the present year in Kashmir, out of which 29 were foreigners. The reports also state that this was double the number of ultras killed during the corresponding period last year.

 

 

 

 

 

Last year, in the first five months and 12 days, fifty terrorists including one foreigner were killed in the counter terrorism operations. Out of the 100 killed in these six months, 63 of the terrorists belonged to the banned outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba, whereas 24 others were affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).
