Delhi, May 21: Since the Shivling has been found inside Varanasi's Gyanvapi Masjid Premises, highly intellectual liberals are suffering from a major meltdown. After getting insecure by the discovery, many liberals took to social media sites and began making objectionable statements about the Shivling.
Taking action on one such "intellectual" person who was misusing his right to speech and expression, Delhi police have arrested Associate Professor of Delhi University's Hindu College Ratan Lal for making objectionable comments against the Shivling. Shockingly, Lal teaches history at the university.
As per the reports, police took the action against the associate professor following a complaint filed by Supreme Court lawyer Vineet Jindal. In a complaint, Jindal said that the statement made by Lal on his Twitter account is 'instigating and provoking'.
It should be noted that just after the discovery of Shivling, Lal took his Facebook account and made offensive remarks against the Hindu God. He had posted an image of the Shivling, saying it was circumcised.
