Shiv Linga at Gyanvapi : VHP celebrates discovery of Gyanvapi history's saffron chapter

He said that the revelation about Shiv Linga at Gyanvapi took place in presence of both the parties of the ongoing case and this has once again and more impactfully pointed out that this place belongs to a temple not a mosque and it was just the same even back in 1947.

New Delhi, May 16: The video evidence of Shiv Linga inside the Gyanvapi Mosque concluded decades long conspiracy with backing support to the claim that the Gyanvapi mosque stands on the destroyed remains of a Hindu Shiva temple and hides an ancient Shiv Linga inside it. Adv Alok Kumar, International Working President, VHP said about the revelation that this has proven the fact that the place belongs to a temple and not a mosque.

Following the discovery of a Shiv Linga inside the Gyanvapi Mosque, in accordance with a Varanasi court's order of video surveying the mosque, Vishwa Hindu Parishad's International Working President, Adv. Alok Kumar said that this has proven the claim that the place belongs and always belonged to a temple and not a mosque. He said the news of discovery of Shiv Linga at Gyanvapi is overwhelming.
 
 
 
 
 
He said that the revelation about Shiv Linga took place in presence of both the parties of the ongoing case and this has once again and more impactfully pointed out that this place belongs to a temple not a mosque and it was just the same even back in 1947. Kumar is hopeful that all the countrymen, despite of their religious and ideological belonging, will accept and respect the fact. He also indicated that such important discovery for all the Hindus will naturally lead them to the desire of worshipping and this should be considered.

The court has protected and sealed the area for the time being, where the Shiv Linga has been discovered. He said that it is the responsibility of police to protect the region from any kind of mishap or violence. Kumar also said that he is confident that the case will conclude in the righteous manner. He said that the VHP will discuss the case ahead of several saints and babas at Haridwar on Jun 11 - 12.
