Bengaluru, April 05: In the latest development, National Investigation Agency officials investigating in Bajrang Dal activist Harsha murder case, revealed that murder was committed to orchestrate communal violence in the backdrop of the hijab controversy.
As per the
reports, the NIA office during the investigation learned that Harsh was murdered with a conspiracy and plan to create communal violence. The sleuths of the premier probe visited the town to take over all the documents in connection with the Harsha murder case from the police. Reports further stated that NIA in its FIR has mentioned the communal violence angle.
It should be reminded that Bajrang Dal activist Harsha was murdered in the Shivamogga district on February 20 at the height of the hijab controversy. Karnataka police have arrested 10 Muslim people in connection with the case. They have been booked under the Unlawful Activities act.
Earlier, Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra had also said that according to findings of the police probe, there was a communal agenda behind the murder of Harsha.
