The devotees were seen chanting and dancing on way with devotion on the birthday of Bhagwan Ram. The ‘Shobha Yatra’ was escorted by the security forces. After passing through Residency Road, Rajinder Bazar, Kanak Mandi, Mubarak Mandi, Moti Bazar, Raj Tilak Road, Old Hospital Road and Raghunath Bazar, the procession reached back to Raghunath temple, officials said.
Ajay Gandotra, chairman of the Jammu Kashmir Charitable Trust, said the yatra could not be organized in the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He said that this year we had decided to organize the Yatra in a big way.
