According to the sources, an “important personality” has given a message of the Prime Minister to the Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif. Reportedly, this was revealed during the meeting of the Opposition leaders today ahead of the crucial National Assembly session for the debate on the no-confidence motion.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan has been approached to stop voting on a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan after the latter shared a letter highlighting a "foreign conspiracy" to topple his government. The plea asked the top court to order an investigation of the foreign conspiracy letter saying that immediate intervention was necessary to bring an end to distress among the masses. Khan on Wednesday said that a letter carrying evidence of a foreign conspiracy to topple his government had come to the fore.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Khan is scheduled to address the nation this evening, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said in a tweet. Taking to Twitter, Federal minister Fawad Chaudhry on Thursday said: "Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the nation tonight".

Separately, Senator Faisal Javed Khan, a confidante of Prime Minister Khan, also tweeted to confirm the address and said that the exact time of the speech would be shared later.
