New Delhi, Mar 02: Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, who is India's special envoy for overseeing Operation Ganga in Romania and Moldova met and interacted with Indian students awaiting their flights at the Bucharest Airport.
He also talked to some students in Marathi and assured them of their quick departure from the Romanian capital.
"Met & interacted with Indian students awaiting their flights at the Bucharest Airport. Overwhelmed by their grit & concerned by their anxiety amid the tough times. However, assured them of their quick departure from Bucharest. PM Narendra Modi Ji & all of India have got their back!" he tweeted.
The ministers informed that Moldova's borders have been opened for incoming Indian students and talks are underway to make arrangements for their journey to Bucharest for onward flight to India. "Moldova's borders have been opened for incoming Indian students. Proper shelter and food arrangements will be made. Talks are on to make arrangements for their journey to Bucharest for onward flight to India," he tweeted.
After that, he also met the Indian Ambassador to Romania and Moldova, Rahul Shrivastava to discuss the operational issues for evacuation and flight plan from Bucharest and Suceava in the coming days.
