As the "The Kashmir Files" movie, which shows the true events of the 1991 genocide committed by Islamists, is witnessing critical acclaim, the Gandhi family-led-Congress party, which always lied through their teeth about the Kashmir pandit genocide, is now becoming restless seeing people’s reaction to the movie. Fearing that the film will expose their long-term agenda, which portrays Islamist terrorists as victims, Congress has awoken to save itself and Islamists by blaming the BJP and RSS for genocide.
Using social media, the official Congress Kerala handle has shared some "twisted facts about the Kashmiri Pandit issue," while downplaying the genocide to mislead the people.
In a long string of facts, Congress attempted to portray the Islamist as a victim, claiming that 399 Kashmiri Pandits were killed in terrorist attacks over a 17-year period (1990–2007), while 15,000 Muslims were killed by terrorists during the same period.
Tweeting another fact, Congress blamed Governor Jagmohan, who was then appointed as the governor of Jammu and Kashmir on January 19th, 1990, claiming that the mass exodus in the Kashmir Valley took place under his regime. However, in reality, Jagmohan saved Kashmiri Hindus from a fate much worse than the exodus.
While comparing the Kashmiri Muslims who were killed in the communal riots after partition to the Kashmiri pandit, Congress once again tried to defend the Jihadi terrorists and justify the Kashmiri pandit genocide, saying Kashmiri Hindus were not targeted and they were victims of terrorism just like everyone else.
In another tweet, it accused the BJP, saying the BJP was engineering a Hindu-Muslim divide in the country over the Ram Mandir issue in Ayodhya during the migration. The Pandits' issue suited the BJP’s propaganda to create a fake outrage for electoral gain.
Suppressing the fact that the violence that broke out against the Kashmiri Pandits was not overnight but had been since the Sheikh Abdullah and Ghulam Mohammad Shah's regimes, Congress ignored that the concept of 'Islamization of Kashmir" was started way back in the '70s and 80s.
The Congress claimed that the migration started under the BJP-supported VP Singh government. "BJP-supported VP Singh government came to power in December 1989. The Pandits' migration started the very next month, in January 1990. The BJP did nothing and continued supporting VP Singh till November 1990," it added.
It should be noted that many of the riots and killings of the Kashmiri Pandits started under Ghulam Mohammad Shah's regime, whom Indira Gandhi made the CM of Jammu and Kashmir. He was eldest son-in-law of Aurangzeb Sheikh Abdullah. He became CM by toppling bro-in-law Farooq Abdullah's govt in 1984.
Disturbances in Kashmir started escalating when
Ghulam Mohammad Shah decided to build a mosque within the grounds of a
Hindu temple in 1986. This led to Hindu-Muslim clashes, and the situation got worse when G. M. Shah declared that ‘Islam is in danger.’ This one sentence led to the demolishing of properties belonging to the Hindus, and temples were destroyed. Riots across various areas of Kashmir were getting worse by the day. Seeing the situation getting out of hand even after the army was called in to curb it, on March 12th, 1986, the Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Jagmohan, dismissed G. M. Shah’s government.
Moreover, while trying to portray the UPA government as the saviour of Kashmiri Pandits, it said that the UPA government had in the past worked to relocate Pandits and provided security to them. It said that the government built 5,242 tenements for Pandits in Jammu and also provided one-time assistance of Rs 5 lakh to each family, in addition to student scholarships, assistance to farmers, and welfare schemes worth Rs 1,168.4 crore. However, after the outrage, Congress deleted some of the tweets.
The Congress government did not appear at this point; it was the same government that provided a safe haven to many terrorists, including Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front leader Yasin Malik, whose hands were covered in the blood of Indian air force officers. The attack on the IAF men took place on January 25, 1990, at Rawalpora, Srinagar, when terrorists fired on them, injuring 40 and killing four.
Apart from that, Malik is one of the accused who killed Ganjoo, a High Court Judge and prominent Kashmiri Pandit. He also purportedly confessed to killing Ganjoo in a television interview.
Malik is also accused of orchestrating the kidnapping of Dr. Rubaiya Sayeed, daughter of the Union Home Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed and sister of former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, for the release of five members of the JKLF. Despite arresting him, the Congress government not only provide a haven to him but former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh called him to Delhi and met him.
This tweet shows the restlessness of the Congress party and the success of the Kashmir Files, which unapologetically shows how Kashmiri Hindus were given a clear choice by Islamist terrorists of the valley either to ‘Ralive-Tsalive-ya Galive’ (Convert, leave or perish).
