In India's corporate world, there is hardly any moment that could be described in just words or sentences. One is short of words that leave a mark on our minds. However, one such overwhelming and heart-melting was witnessed in Mumbai’s National Centre for the Performing Arts (NPCA). When India's two entrepreneurial legends came face-to-face, it was one of the most special moments that went down in history.

Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy on Tuesday presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata. However, what followed after that was mesmerising.

Murthy was on stage to honour Tata with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution towards the Indian business landscape. After conferring the honour to Tata, Murthy, as a mark of respect and humility, touched Tata’s feet and sought blessing from the Tata Group’s chairman emeritus.

Responding to such special gesture by Murthy, "It was an honour to be awarded by TIEcon at the hands of a great friend Mr. Narayana Murthy," Ratan Tata said on Instagram, adding, "I am truly humbled," in the caption.

At that time, people called the gesture saying that "They are not just business tycoons but true examples for the coming generation of goal aspirants."

Ratan Naval Tata, the Indian industrialist, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and former chairman of Tata Sons needs no introduction. He may not be on Forbes, but he has a place in the hearts of people of all ages, genders, and groups.

Ratan Tata has also been awarded the Padma Vibhushan and the Padma Bhushan in honour of his remarkable contributions to the growth of India through the establishment of healthcare facilities and improved educational institutions.
