New Delhi, Dec 26: If Pakistan claims that without Kashmir, Pakistan is incomplete, so we say that sans Karachi, Lahore, and Nankana Sahib, India is incomplete, thundered senior RSS leader and Patron and Guide of Muslim Rashtriya Manch Indresh Kumar.

Speaking at the 21st Foundation Day function at the Aiwan-e-Ghalib auditorium on December 24, 2022, Indresh Kumar said that it has become necessary to give a befitting reply to Pakistan in the language they use for India.

Tracing the genesis and history of MRM he said that the MRM was founded on 24th December 2002 in presence of former RSS Sarsanghchalak K. S. Sudarshan, Islamic Scholar Moulana Wahiduddin Khan, former President of All India Imam Organization Moulana Jamil Iliyasi and others. The MRM was launched as a social reform movement to work for the betterment and uplift of the Muslim community and to ensure their participation in the progress and development of the country, he added.

Indresh Kumar also said that those who feel suffocated in this land have no place in this country and not even in the ‘Jahannum’ for them.

Earlier, a short film made by MRM Media Incharge Shahid Saeed showcasing the 20-year journey of MRM was screened amidst thunderous applause from the audience, Indresh Kumar also unveiled the new logo of MRM on this occasion.

In his nearly an hour-long address Indresh Kumar narrated the success story of the MRM on various social, national and conventional issues such as triple, talaq, Article 370 and 35A, Ramjamnabhui verdict, banning cow slaughter, etc., and congratulated the MRM activists and office-bearers for their successful participation in this successful journey of MRM.

He said if Pakistan can raise slogans laying its claim on Kashmir, then no one can stop us also for raising slogans laying claims on Karachi, Lahore, and Nankana Sahib. He claimed that Baluchistan, Sindh, and other regions of Pakistan are already demanding separation from that country. PoJK is ours and we should get it back, he said emphasizing that Pakistan is on the verge of disintegration in the near future as people in these regions are agitating for separation.

Making an oblique reference to former vice-president Hamid Ansari he said that some intellectuals in India said that Muslims here are unstable and feeling insecure. The fact is the Muslims of this country are Hindustani; they were and will remain forever Hindustani. He loves his country beyond limits and nobody can threaten him.

Referring to Article 370 Indresh Kumar said that it was almost forgotten that all the Muslim members of the Constituent Assembly opposed the introduction of Article 370 for Jammu and Kashmir. But it was introduced at the behest of then Prime Minister Pt. Nehru for a ‘temporary phase’. However, it remained for 70 long years until it was removed by the Narendra Modi government.

Praising the government he said that the present government gave freedom to 8.5 crore Muslim women from the inhuman custom of triple talaq and offered them an opportunity to lead a dignified life. He lamented that the political parties always considered the Muslims as a vote bank and treated them like that only. The present government considered Muslims as equal citizens and offers them all opportunities and facilities so that they can make progress and rise to par with other communities.

He said that the MRM moved forward with the motto “Nation First, Nation Always, Nation Last”. People joined it and the MRM succeeded in injecting love for Madar-e-Vatan Hindustan, to safeguard its prestige and pride, and sacrificing for it. The MRM has become a forum endowed with divine blessings. He said that the MRM workers are aware of the fact that character and sacrifice lead a person to a place in heaven and not because of the case, religion, money, or education.

MRM National Conveners Mohd. Afzal, Dr. Shahid Akhtar who is also a member of the National Commission for Minority Education Institutions, famous cancer surgeon Dr. Majid Talikoti, Abu Bakar Naqvi, Shahid Saeed, Bilal-ur-Rahman, Chairman of Uttarakhand Madarsa Board, Dr. Tahir Hussain, Khurshid Rajaka, Dr. Imran Chaudhary, National Convener MRM Mahila Prakoshth Shalini Ali, Shahnaz Afzal, Irfan Mirza, Delhi MRM Convener Hafeez Sabreen and member of Ajmer Dargah Committee Kasim Malik were conspicuous by their presence at the function.
