Get ready to witness Tilak's journey! TV show 'Lokmanya' based on Bal Gangadhar Tilak set to premiere on 21 Dec

Mumbai, December 17: To showcase the journey of an Indian freedom fighter who was dubbed the Maker of Modern India, Lokmany Bal Gangadhar Tilal, Zee Marathi is coming with a new series based on the life of Tilak. The show name 'Lokmany' will premiere on December 21 from Wednesday to Saturday at 9.30 PM.

 

 

The show will chronicle Tilak's political journey and important events in his personal life as well including the support he got from his wife. The show is written by Ashutosh Parandkar and directed by Swapnil Warke.

 

 

The show stars popular Marathi actors Spruha Joshi and Kshitish Date in the lead roles. Spruha will play the role of Bal Gangadhar Tilak's wife Tapibai aka Satyabhamabai Tilak.

 

As per the makers, the audience will get to know the fiery patriotism of Lokmanya Tilak, who roared, "Swaraj is my birthright and I shall have it". The extraordinary journey of Lokmanya, his patriotism, and his personality are expected to inspire everyone.
