Reality of Cong govt scheme! Pigs seen licking utensils of Indira Rasoi scheme in Rajasthan

The Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot-led government has once again landed in controversy, a shocking video showing the reality of the state govt's ambitious Indira Rasoi scheme, which is aimed at providing food to the poor while maintaining cleanliness, went viral on social media.
 
In that disturbing video, pigs were seen licking kitchen utensils, meant to serve food, under Yojana. The visuals emerging from Indira Rasoi, located in front of MSJ College in Bharatpur.

For unreserved, the scheme was launched in August 2020 by the Rajasthan government with the aim of providing food to needy people for Rs 8. The scheme was launched under the resolution "Koi Bhukha Nahi Soyega'. Under the scheme, 25 Indira Rasoi were made operational with a budget of Rs 100 crore.

Ironically, the video comes just days after Rajasthan CM Gehlot appealed to all the public representatives to eat at the Indira Rasoi centres at least once a month to help them increase their connection with the people.
 
As soon as the video went viral on social media, the netizens started criticising the state government. Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala demanded an inquiry into the matter and questioned the state government of Rajasthan for not maintaining the scheme.
 
 
 
Sharing the picture, he said, "A video from Bharatpur In Rajasthan put out by many media organizations shows the reality of Congress’ schemes meant for the poor! Pigs eating from plates meant for the poor in Indira Rasoi centers! Not only is this unhygienic and disgusting but it is humiliating! Inquiry is a must."
 
Following this, Bharatpur municipal corporation terminated the contract with the institution and issued a notice.
