New Delhi, Nov 19: The Delhi Police's crime branch with help of security agencies have arrested a driver working in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) for passing confidential information to Pakistan.
According to the police, the driver was transferring various information and documents in lieu of money to a Pakistani "spy".
They said that the driver was honey-trapped by Pakistan's spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence and was arrested for passing confidential and sensitive information.
Further, the accused was allegedly honey-trapped by the Pakistani spy who used a fake profile of a woman to get information. The spy used to tell the driver that she was from Kolkata. The woman is an agent of Pakistan's ISI.
Police are conducting further probes into the matter.
