Hindu woman in Telangana arrested for performing Puja in a temple; KCR govt needs to answer

Have you been to a temple? Have you ever been arrested for performing puja? Well, though this sounds a bit unreal, this has turned literal in the state of Telangana where a Hindu woman was yesterday arrested for performing puja. She was taken to the police station, video of which went viral around the internet.

 

 

Flight Lt Anoop Verma happened to share the video that showcases the shame some Hindustani states have undertaken. "Arrested for doing Pooja? What a shame for all of us as a nation? Where are we heading in some of the states of Hindustan? KCR needs to answer this immediately", the tweet read.

 

 

"I went to Hanuman Temple in Jubliee hills and did puja. Any Hindu would do it. But under the KCR government, if you do pujas in temples then you get arrested. I have been arrested and have bought to this poilce station. What is my fault? As result of what kind of state affairs has this incident happened in Telangana?", the lady in the video said.

 

 

 

She further said that all the Hindus must understand that under the KCR government, all Hindus are being harrassed and stopped from exercising their fundamental right to pray. "It is time we all rise against this government which is sold out for its votes. It's the Anti-hindu government", she added.

 

 

KCR has played the Hindu card several times, often claiming that he is a bigger Hindu than Prime Minister Modi himself. In 2019, while addressing an election rally at Miryalaguda in Nalgonda district, KCR had said, "They (BJP) leaders talk of Hindutwa only for the sake of vote bank politics, but I practise Hinduism in letter and spirit in all walks of my life. Who else is a bigger Hindu than me? BJP leaders including Modi cannot match me on this." This was in reply to PM Modi's Mahabubnagar rally during the Lok Sabha elections.
