NCP worker hits Lady Sarpanch of Kadamvakvasti, Pune; Video captured; Sarpanch Gauri Gaikwad cries for justice

In yet another shocking incident, a lady sarpanch of Kadamwakvasti in rural Pune, was beaten up by a NCP worker at a vaccination center. In a viral video a woman sarpanch, Gauri Gaikwad was seen being assaulted by one Sujit Kalbhor who she claims is an NCP worker. BJP leader Chitra Wagh sharing the video on her social media handle said 'the incident is shocking, annoying and highly unacceptable'.

 

 

"Are the MLAs and activists of the party which has the Home Department licensed to insult women officers, threaten them with atrocities and beat up women sarpanches? The elected lady sarpanch of Kadamwakwadi village near Pune, has been beaten up. Who's to be held responsible", she tweeted.

 

 

 

Meanwhile Sarpanch Gauri Gaikwad who is still in the hospital said that she has yet not obtained justice. "Sujit Kalbhor thrashed me. When a sarpanch is doing good work, she is being subjected to violence. NCP workers raise their hands on a woman", she added.

 

 

Gaikwad has lodged a police complaint alleging that a NCP worker had slapped her in the ear. What is special is that the beating of a NCP worker has been captured on camera. It clearly shows him beating the woman. Now this has everyone's attention. Also will it be gripping to see what exactly the police does.
