Government committed to development of Cuncolim: Goa CM

Goa, September 28: Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant said that the state government is committed to the social, economic and infrastructural development of the Cuncolim constituency.
He spoke at the inauguration of the Medical Dispensary of the Directorate of Health Services at Cuncolim on Saturday, and he urged people to support the government’s initiatives for the betterment of the state.
The Cuncolim constituency MLA Clafasio Dias spoke on the occasion and said that the medical dispensary at Cuncolim will look after all the medical needs of the locals, and also provide people with a better service.
The Director of Health Services Dr. Jose D’sa said that the state health department is working to meet the medical needs of people and also several health projects and policies are initiated by the state government.

Previously, Sawant inaugurated a water tender vehicle having a capacity of 4,500 litres and ‘Emergency Rescue Tender’ vehicle procured by Fire and Emergency Services in Cuncolim. The CM also laid the foundation Stone for the new fire station building at Cuncolim and the widening and resurfacing road of MDR-40 at Paroda which is a project by the Public Works Department.
