Mumbai, September 02: Since its release, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani-starrer ‘Shershaah’ is receiving praise from quarters across the globe. And after becoming the second most highest-rated movie on IMDB, the Shershaah is continuing to scale new heights.
In the latest development, one of the soundtracks from the movie has made a debut on the US Billboard charts. Shershaah's romantic soundtrack ‘Ranjha’ sung by Jasleen Royal and B Praak has debuted on Billboard’s Global Exclusive US Chart.
Producer Karan Johar announced the news via social media Handel. He took to his Twitter handle to announce this great news. Sharing a screenshot of the Billboard charts, Karan Johar wrote, “The music of #Shershaah is winning hearts globally!!”
Ranjha’ bagged a spot at 73 as one of the top debuts this week.
Apart from that, another song from the movie Raataan Lambiyan is also gracing the 28th spot on the chart. Both Ranjha and Raataan Lambiyan have also entered the Spotify Global Top 100 chart. They also hold the record for being the most streamed songs in a week on Spotify India.
Reportedly, the film has emerged as the most-watched movie on Amazon Prime Video to date. 'Shershaah' was released on August 12
Earlier, Chief of Army Staff, General MM Naravane, has lauded the makers for the realistic portrayal of the 1999 Kargil war. General Naravane wrote a letter of appreciation for the film’s team.
