The Description of the Pune Procession described in 1894 is Still Applicable today. ‘Ganapati Idols of Every Colony started participating and Arriving at the Designated place near Ray Market as allocated "Ganapati Bappa Morya" Mantra was being hailed like a Divine WarCry with an overwhelming response everywhere early next year.
Gulal was a new addition being adorned on everyone's head to beautify the event colorfully. There wasn't a place to set foot on the road. Jam-packed Streets Totally. The roofs of the houses Experienced A New Life of Dharma and Unity Brought to life. When the procession reached near Lakdi bridge, Rituals were Performed and then Sacred Immersions took place - The Same is being inculcated even today with abiding to all the Dharmic acts.
Ganeshotsav Started Gaining momentum in the Rural Belt and the Struggle of village circles to Start the Ganapati Procession started declining and began to be celebrated instead. Despite off the Restraining orders, the Fearless God loving Activists were ready to take up the Cases on them by tyrant govt. Tons of Cases were put on the Initiators who Brought the Festival to the Geography.
