New Delhi, June 22: With Twitter continuing its discrimination in the country, the social media giant has now provided "blue tick" to Popular Front India - Karnataka handle. This development is earning criticism from social media as the PFI has been accused of unlawful activists. This comes in the backdrop of Twitter taking away the verified blue tick of several organizations like RSS & also the personal handle of the Vice President.
It should be noted that ever since it was formed in 2006, the radical Islamist outfit PFI has been involved in several clashes and political murders. The organisation has been accused of having links with the banned Islamic terror group Students’ Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). It has been also accused of involving in perpetrating terrorist attacks in India and carrying large-scale communal riots in different parts of the country.
