Bangladesh offers help! Offers emergency medical support in India's fight against COVID

Dhaka, Apr 29: Bangladesh has offered emergency medicines and equipment to India to fight the COVID pandemic. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) of Bangladesh said in a press release on Thursday that it is ready to immediately dispatch assistance for India.

According to the MoFA, it is ready to dispatch approximately 10,000 vials of injectable anti-viral, oral antiviral, 30,000 PPE kits, and several thousand zinc, calcium, vitamin C and other necessary tablets for the people of India on an emergency basis in view of the Corona situation in India.

Expressing deep sorrow and condolences at the loss of lives in India due to the spread of the COVID pandemic, Bangladesh expressed solidarity with India. It said at this critical moment Bangladesh is ready to provide and mobilize support in every possible way to save lives.
 
 
 
 
The Indian embassy in Bangladesh has respondded to the offer provided by Bangladesh by sharing on twitter that "Thank you @MOFA_Dhaka for expressing solidarity of #Bangladesh with #India and for support extended as #IndiaFightsCorona. Confident #IndiaBangladesh friendship will help us all overcome #Covid19 together."
