Following the shameful incident, Rawalpindi Police has registered a case against unidentified miscreants for the incident. Syed Raza Abbas Zaidi, security officer of the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), Northern Zone has registered a complaint at Banni Police Station. The application asked the authorities to take legal action against the unidentified people and sought security for the temple.

A day after the attacked Pakistan Prime Minister greeted the Hindu community on the occasion of Holi. However, instead of extending the fake wishes to the Hindu communities, Imran khan and his government should start protecting the Hindu community and Hindu Temples in Pakistan.

As per the reports, a builder who had earlier promised that the temple would not be touched demolished it while taking advantage of the Covid lockdown.
