Mumbai, March 16: Malvani region again is in news for wrong reasons! In a yet another horrifying attack on Hindus in the Malvani area of Maharashtra, two Hindu youngsters who run a food stall were attacked by a mob, assaulted by blunt objects leaving heavy marks of injuries on their head and face. The police who is yet to take a stronger action however has managed to nab only two culprits who were later identified as Danish Khan and Abdul Siddiqui, residents of Malvani.
The two victims, as reported by a local news report were near a petrol pump on bike late night when a group of 10-15 unarmed muslim miscreants started abusing the duo and kept calling, addressing them 'Nepali'. The mob, assumably consisting of the Muslim people beat them up severely injuring the duo further as they seemed to resist to the abuses.
The group only fled away when police came to the spot but one of the guys threw out something from his pocket seeing the cops, later found to be an illegal drug. Danish and Abdul, reportedly had come later searching for the Hindu youth to their stall with a mob of a dozen men on bikes. The men began hitting the elder brother and two younger cousins saying, "Tune humare khilaf police complaint kiya na, ab dikhate hai" (You called the police? Now we'll see).
The men destroyed the food stall, abusing them and hitting them saying 'Maaro Kafiro ** ko', '** NepaIi'. One of them grabbed a rod and hit the elder brother on his head who felt unconscious and started bIeeding. They also threatened, said, "We won't leave you alive" and robbed the gold chain of the elder brother. The Charkop Police as noted, made the victim sit for 4-5 hours in the station before registering the complaint and eventually failed to register the case of robbery saying the chain must have fell off. The accused are all residents of Malvani who's MLA Aslam Shaikh is now a minister of MVA govt.
In a similar pattern back in 2018,
Bhavesh Koli was killed by gang of bikers for opposing bike stunts lead by two Muslim men. He was a BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) employee, working at the pay and park facility run by the BMC for the public in Byculla, Mumbai. Two youths, Usman and Anus, both school drop-outs, would come to the facility and do their 'stunts' on motorbikes- drive very fast. Bhavesh simply asked them to stop because it was dangerous. They went home, got accomplices, followed Bhavesh back home after his work, and stabbed him to death!
Malvani area in Mumbai has become home to 'attacks on Hindus' happenings now! The victims must be provided with the necessary police protection and timely justice by punishing all the accused and recovering the robbed gold. No matter what religion or political party accused belong to, the culprits should be punished. Law and order should be maintained and that the culprits should not walk free!
