NPCI launches “UPI-Help” on Bhim App for digital payments,

 New Delhi, March 16: National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) the umbrella entity for digital payments in India, has launched the “UPI-Help” on the BHIM UPI Application. The aim is to address any issues and complaints that users might have during UPI transactions.

With that users can register any transaction-related complaint online using their BHIM UPI App using UPI-Help. It will also assist the users to check the status of pending transactions. They can also raise complaints against the transactions which have not been processed or in case the money has not reached the beneficiary.
“To start with, NPCI has gone live on the BHIM app for the customers of State Bank of India, AXIS Bank, HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank. Customers of Paytm Payments Bank and TJSB Sahakari Bank shall also be able to get the advantage of UPI-Help soon. Users of other banks participating in UPI will be able to enjoy the best of UPI-Help in the coming months," NPCI said.

As per the NPCI, this window is currently open on the BHIM app for the customers of State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, AXIS Bank, and ICICI Bank. Other customers including the customers of Paytm Payments Bank, TJSB Sahakari Bank, and other participating banks shall also be able to get the benefit of UPI-Help on a later date.
NPCI further added, "The UPI-Help system is an example of the convergence of technology and innovation for future-proofing customer grievance redressal mechanism. The UPI-Help going live on BHIM UPI will instill a sense of confidence and further encourage more users to get on-boarded into the digital payments ecosystem owing to the enhanced confidence for their UPI transactions."

It is an Indian mobile payment App. The app has been developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). It is based on the Unified Payments Interface (UPI). The application facilitates the e-payments directly through the banks. It supports all the Indian banks which use UPI and has been built over Immediate Payment Service (IMPS). The app can be used on all mobile devices.
