New Delhi, February 06: BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda on Saturday slammed the
Mamata Banerjee led government for doing the injustice to
farmers. "Didi has done injustice to the
farmers here. She in her stubbornness, ego and pride, did not roll out PM's Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in
West Bengal", he said while addressing the people in Malad,
West Bengal.
"This has kept over 70 lakh
farmers deprived of its benefit. When around 25 lakh people urged to the Centre, then
Mamata ji said I'll also implement Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
Mamata ji, elections are around the corner, what's the point repenting when the damage has already been done?", he pondered taking a straight hit to the Mamata led government.
Ahead of the elections,
BJP Prez also said that the people of the state are ready to say goodbye to incumbent Chief Minister
Mamata Banerjee in the upcoming elections and bring in
BJP. Nadda said his party will ensure Bengal’s proper 'vikas'. He also claimed that the lack of infrastructure in Bengal’s agriculture was a result of the ruling party’s policies.

“Due to
Mamata, Bengal has no proper infrastructure for
farmers, no facilities for irrigation, no storage for grains,” Nadda said. This is in contrast to the work
BJP is doing across the country, Nadda said highlighting the special rails made for transporting grains. With the rally, the
BJP expects to mobilise public support for the party, which has made significant inroads in the Trinamool Congress-ruled state ahead of the elections. Several senior leaders are scheduled to arrive in
West Bengal during the month-long campaign.
