Afghanistan’s Civil Aviation Body, last week had informed that Kabul airport is all set to resume for international flights and the technical issues were resolved. Announcing this, the Civil Aviation Authority of the country said that the operation of aircraft from Kabul airport is fully started. Domestic flight operations have resumed at the airport and the facility is ready for international flights to resume normal activities.

Some flights from Qatar, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates have arrived at Kabul’s airport in recent days. The country’s civil aviation body spokesman Mohammad Naeem Salehi had said that the department has written to neighboring countries and the international community asking them to resume air services from the country. During this, he had said that technically there is no problem with international flights. We are waiting for a reply from the neighboring countries in this regard. They should tell whether they will start flights to Kabul airport or not. At present, domestic flights are continuing to operate.
