Our society has to face innumerable invasions from the most barbaric races. Even in the dark hour of the rule of Aurangzeb, a great martial saint Samartha Ramdas was constrained to lament that an incarnation of the Almighty could save Hindu society from total annihilation.
Even today adharmic elements are having their heydays. But our society survived all these grave crises. Again, and again it has risen from the ashes and established the reign of righteousness.
Justice Gajendragadkar, former Chief Justice of India, observes “Hindu religion may be described as a way of life and nothing more. The history of Indian thought emphatically brings out the fact that the development of Hindu Religion has always been inspired by an endless quest for of the mind for Truth, based on the consciousness that truth has many facets”.
Truth is one but wise men describe it differently.' As per Dattopant Thengadi, “Concept of Dharma is characteristically a Bharatiya phenomenon. Religion is the belief in recognition of or an awakened sense of a higher unseen controlling power or powers”.
The concept of Param Vaibhavam of the Hindu Rashtra must be properly comprehended. Western countries have the highest national objective of attainment of superpower status. But Bharat's Param Vaibhav is pre-ordained Jagad-Guru-Pada.
The attitude of Hindu Dharma towards other religions has enabled Hindu dharma to be a confederation of all the religions. Attitude towards law has helped it to become a Vishwa Dharma. Bharat is eminently suited to play this role of Vishav Guru. Bharat with Sanatana Dharma as its referent and 'All is one 'as its ultimate realization.
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar observed, “Only brotherhood can protect freedom and equality. This brotherhood is also called social oneness. It is humanity, it is Dharma.”
In Bunch of Thoughts by Shri Golwalkar Guruji on the philosophy of RSS, one can listen to the voice of “World Mission of the Hindu Rashtra”. That mission is to seek harmony among the various and diverse characteristics that have been our special contribution to the world thought.
The ancient spirit is not dead. The spirit which has survived all the shocks of centuries of aggression is bound to reassert itself. Prof Rajendra Singh said and very rightly so, that we Hindus are neither militant nor aggressive, but we are certainly assertive Hindus
So, true to our spirit of Sanatan Dharma let us remain true to our dream of re-instating our Bharat Mata as the cultural Guide of the world. We should contribute to making Bharat self-dependent. The same will ensure in attaining Param Vaibhav of Sanatan times in a big way. Let us prepare ourselves for that historic mission regardless of the time and energy that may be required to dedicate. This may take a long way. It certainly is but we will achieve it in our lifetime.
