Mumbai, March 13: COVID-19 pandemic has gripped the world and people around have turned on their antennas to discover home remedies that would perchance put a stop to the epidemic. Some suggest hydration theory while others state Ayurveda policy to have complete effect on. But humans after all you know! How do we trail unless hambones put in two cents, isn't it?
Asking the folks to stay calm and composed amid the corona virus outbreak, Big B Amitabh Bachchan has doodled some lines narrating his interesting take on the epidemic and that how everyone is busy sharing remedies fight the health scare.
Bahutere ilaaj batawein jan manas sab,
kekar sunein, kekar naahi kaun bataye e sab?
Keyo kahis kalaunji piso, keyo anwla ras,
keyo kahas ghar ma baitho hilo na tas se mas.
Eer kahin au beer kaheen ki aisa kuch bhi karona
bin sabun se haath dhoi ke kehu ke bhaiya chuo na.
Hum kaha chalo hum bhi kar det hain jaisan bolein sab
aawaye deo carona farona thengua dekhaub tab.
He also shared the poem on his blog but offering no translation, wrote, “Unfortunately those that are Hindi and Awadhi challenged, shall be dis advantaged.. but then the flavour of the moment is lost, if succumbed by translation.. there is more to be said and thought about.. on lines similar to the ones above.. WHO and UNICEF have also asked me to send out video messages, which I did.. but they are more formal.. this in Awadhi was my own doing.. one is never too far away from their Mother tongue.. ! Stay safe, Stay alert , stay.. my love!”

The entertainment industry has prepared for an unprecedented shutdown to curb the spread of the coronavirus, canceling upcoming movies, suspending all Broadway performances and scuttling concert tours until it’s safe to welcome crowds back. The number of coronavirus positive cases in India have soared to 74. Fourteen fresh cases have been reported from several states, including nine from Maharashtra. The majority of the cases have been reported in Kerala, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi.
Meanwhile, the country has suspended all foreign visas with immediate effect and asked its citizens to avoid unnecessary travel to virus-hit countries such as China, Iran, Italy, Republic of Korea, among others till April 15. The government has asked citizens to avoid gatherings to contain the pandemic. The deadly virus that originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December last year has claimed over 4,600 lives and infected more than 124,330 people worldwide.
