Assam Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Spiritual Guru Madan Engti and others at the Religious Solidarity Meet of Lokhimon Sangha in Karbianglong district of Assam.
He was speaking as a chief guest at the Religious Solidarity Meet of the Lokhimon Sangha held at Dolamara in the East Karbianglong district of Assam on December 23.
Lauding the efforts of the Lokhimon Sangha in spiritual uplift of the Karbi community, Sarma assured them all support and help in furthering their mission.
Lokhimon Sangha has over 110 worship centers and four main ashrams in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, known as ‘Lokhimon Adovan’ in Karbi parlance with a strength of 80000 disciples who gather at the weekly get togethers in these centers.

Besides Dr Himanta Biswa Sarmah, who graced the function as Chief Guest, the program was attemded by Horen Sing Bey, M P Tuliram Ronghang, Chief Executive Member of Karbianglong Autonomous District Council, Dr Numil Momin, MLA, Sandeep Kavishwar, Kshetra Sangathan Mantri, Kalyan Ashram, and Sahadev Hajong, Youth Incharge of Kalyan Ashram Assam.
Dr. Sarma appreciated the efforts and works of Lokhimon Sangha saying that spiritual and moral up gradation of every human being is essential along with materialistic development and the organization is achieving nights in this field. He assured to cooperate in fulfilling the aims and targets of the organization for the betterment of the state.
The attraction of the program was Yoga display by the students of Lokhimon Sangha School and various cultural events. The discipline shown by around 10000 disciples from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh was appreciable.
