New Delhi, Dec 21: Controversial Christian evangelist pastor and DMK supporter Bishop Ezra Sargunam hurled abusive remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that PM Modi was not eligible to rule the country as he could not live with his wife for even five days.

Bishop Ezra Sargunam, who is known for spitting anti-Hindu venom, had participated in the ‘hunger strike’ led by Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) Chief MK Stalin in Chennai against the recently passed Farm Laws. He was joined by fellow anti-Hindu propagandists such as MDMK Chief Vaiko, Manithaneya Makkal Katchi leader Jawahirullah and other leaders belonging to the opposition parties.

Completely out of the context, Ezra like he always does, attacked the Modi Govt by bringing in questions from the Prime Minister's personal life. Bidhop Ezra made ugly comments about the Prime Minister saying that "He (PM Modi) is not going to change his mind anyway. He is a man who has come to loot the country and is doing his job correctly. His duty is to support the four rich men. He doesn’t care about the poor. But he will keep saying ‘I was born poor, I sold tea, I am living my life for the poor’. But he keeps doing exactly the opposite.”

The bishop continued on exhibiting his conservative and irrational mindset by saying things like the PM does not fear God as he does not have a conscience. The controversial Christian evangelist trespassed all his boundaries when he said that if Modi had lived with his wife at least for 5 days he would have known the difficulties of everyday life.

This is not the first instance for the Bishop to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In fact the evangelist degrades the standards of his own opinions each time he makes a statement against PM Modi.

Previously, during an interview with a local tamil news channel the Bishop is seen making blatant statements like Prime Minister Modi had not only helped loan defaulters to leave the country but was also financially helping them through RBI.

There seems to be no visible reason for the bishop's obsession to target the Indian Prime Minister every time, with or without any relevant context. However, his statements were liable to be counted as a legal offense against one of the foremost citizens of the country much earlier.

“In the present incident, there was no context of bringing in the Prime Minister's personal life and try to forcibly relate it to the issues of the farmers and that too was done in a very derogatory manner. The bishop, despite of being the spiritual head of a religious community exhibiting such kind of behaviour is highly inappreciable and also demands for legal attention.”
