Abhinandan Mulakhat or pre-planned drama? Here's what it should have been about instead-

You know what happens when fake media interviews are busted up? Yes, 'Abhinandan Mulakhat' happens! The very second time of facing the media interview and our beloved Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray again picked up the homegrown Media house- 'Saamna' with of course, it's 'intellectual' Chief Editor Sanjayji Raut interviewing the course. One year.. it's the first anniversary of the Thackeray Sarkar in Maharashtra and we, the people, have not seen it growing a bit till date. Wouldn't it be better if it was dismissed within 11 days, or 3 months of its formation, as the state had foretold? Still clueless on what power didn't let that happen. Anyway..

The Abhinandan Mulakhat! One of its kind where each and every move seemed pre-decided, pre-planned and pre-noted. Similar to something like, "You ask this and this is how I'll answer". After all, the one interviewing and the one answering belong to the same school of thought, same political party. What's more interesting to know is, what all matters did this drama include- Excessive Electricity Bills? Sushant Sing Rajput justice? Kangana Ranaut and all that happened to her? State's strategy to fight COVID-19? No, evidently nothing! Then what did he talk about? Well, let's see-

1_1  H x W: 0 x

1. Driving schedule- Raut in this significant interview could have easily avoided this topic. But he didn't, probably to kill the time. "How did you take up driving? It's strange when we see a State CM drives himself to his jobs", asked the 'highbrow' interviewer. In response, it seems CM could not take this 'praise' and giggled. "I love driving and its not that big. I have my feet strong on the clutch, break and the accelerator. I can drive well. I'll think of keeping a chauffeur when in need", he said. Now how is Uddhav Thackeray driving a car important to state development? Is this what all the state wants to know they think?

2. The 'Bhagwa' Zendas- This felt like nothing but a naive give and take of words where Raut and Thackeray both agreed on a 'theory' that said, "ShivSena's saffron colour is more stronger than BJP's and that ShivSena's Hindutva is the only one real". Huhh! This is how children in schools fight- 'How is my shirt whiter than yours'. Grow up Thackeray. Speak up on real issues.

3. The Facebook live sessions- Seriously, what was all that praising for the COVID Facebook live sessions? It's important of course to communicate to the public on what's happening and what's gonna happen. It was important especially during the lockdowns. But the state by now knows what he talked in his live sessions. Sitting in his cozy chair in between the four walls, not even bothering to review the situation personally, "Be at home. Wash hands", is all that he said. People by then were well aware of the seriousness COVID called for. What x-factor information did he give? Again, nothing!

What Abhinandan Mulakhat should have been all about?

1. One Year of Thackeray Sarkar- The conversation didn't actually run on the grounds for what it was arranged in the first place. ShivSena's Uddhav Thackeray has completed a year and though we know there's nothing good happened, CM has missed an opportunity to prove the so called 'MVA haters' wrong. He didn't mention a word about what good he did after coming to the power. What are his strategies and plans for state development? Instead he chose what he thought would be easier than answering to public questions, to defame the BJP and its leaders.

2. Kangana Ranaut matter- The very fact that CM Thackeray avoided to talk on the Kangana matter speaks a lot in itself. That the lady has always been right (except for her words for the city of dreams), that she has been courageous enough to dig out the truth in SSR death case, and now is facing the dominance. The duo in the 'Abhinandan Mulakhat' chair didn't even feel the need to take her name upright and speak about the it (one of the real issue). "Why give her importance", they said and blatantly moved forward.

3. SSR death case- Yup! Not even a word for delayed pending justice in Sushant Singh Rajput death case! The actor died on June 14, 2020 and this is the longest anybody has to wait to know the truth. How did he die? Was it a suicide, murder? Why is Aaditya Thackeray's name taken everytime people speak of the case? No answers. Yet a big veil there!

4. Excessive Electricity Bills- One of the funniest things that happened to the Thackeray Sarkar this year. CM announced bill concessions in lockdown without reviewing the books of accounts of the electricity department that already is and was under debts. Result, now the people in the state are burdened with Rs 68,000, Rs 90,000 per month bill for what they use is a couple of tubelights, one fan and a TV set! "We are looking into it. We are planning on how to solve this issue", is all that CM said. Does he expect people to unnecessarily pay these excessive amounts till then?

The Ahinandan Mulakhat could have been more interesting if ever a real journalist was given a chance to question Thackeray on completion of one year as CM. They planned it, recorded it and then passed it to other media channels who just had to sit back and watch the drama. What a joke! If he has answers, CM Thackeray should give an interview to one of the authenticate media channel, and face a material journalist!
