Wayanad, Jun 7: After massive vanquish in Lok Sabha, for Rahul Gandhi, Wayanad's victory is solace. This victory, in fact, saved Rahul Gandhi from total defeat. Today, Congress President Rahul Gandhi has begun his 3-day visit to his constituency from Kerala, Wayanad for Thanksgiving.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi reached at Kozhikode airport in the afternoon. He is scheduled to participate in at least 15 public functions across the constituency, which includes Wayanad, Malappuram, and Kozhikode for Thanksgiving.
On the arrival of Gandhi, thousands of party workers and leaders were present to receive.
As per the statement of senior Congress leader, Gandhi's visit will boost the morale of the party workers to fight the Assembly bypolls.
In the next 2 days, Rahul Gandhi will be attending receptions at Kalpetta, Kambalkadu, Panamaram, Mananthavadi, Pulpally and, Sultan Batheri and will also accord a roadshow in Kozhikode Assembly constituency on June 9, before he leaves to Delhi.
In his 1st work as an MP, Rahul Gandhi had written to Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan about suicide of a farmer in Wayanad.
