New Delhi, Jun 20: June is the month of results in India. The atmosphere in India in June is mixed scented with tension and happiness, in spite of this, June also brings many records and record breaks in the academic sphere.
Now, making another remarkable achievement, Kendriya Vidyalaya (KVS) students have shined in the recently released JEE Advanced results, with 1,019 students clearing the examination to get admission in prestigious IITs across India.
As per the HRD Ministry’s tweet, Kendriya Vidyalaya (KVS) students have shined in the recently released JEE Advanced results, with 1,019 students clearing the examination to get admission in prestigious IITs across India.
A total of 6,094 KVS students has qualified for the examination. Currently, there are 1,205 KVs operating in India and abroad. This year Kendriya Vidyalayas also gave their best class XII result till date by ensuring a nationwide passing percentage of 98.54 %.
In total, over 1.61 lakh candidates appeared in the JEE Advanced Paper-I and Paper-II out of which 38,705 candidates finally made the cut. The examination was topped by Kartikey Gupta who hails from Ballarpur in Maharashtra.
