Dehradun, June 18: It has been proposed to hold a two-day session of Uttarakhand assembly from June 24. In this special session, a tribute will be given to late Cabinet Minister Prakash Pant. Also, some bills will also be presented in the house.
The Legislative Department has sent the program of the proposed session to the state Legislative Assembly Secretariat. The Assembly Secretariat confirmed the proposal. On Monday it was said that the proposal will be sent to the Governor for approval and then the duly notified notification of the assembly session will be issued. In this special session of the Assembly, the first day will be pay tribute to the late Cabinet Minister Prakash Pant.
The next day some legislation issued by the government will be placed on the floor of the house. Apart from this, some other legislative work will also be disposed of during the session. According to the program so far, the period of the session has been kept for two days only.
