New Delhi, May 7: Riding the ‘Modi Wave’ amid Lok Sabha Elections, when the nation at large and the development chaps want Narendra Modi to rule reigns for the second term, BJP on Monday moved up launching a new campaign slogan centring the national capital, with the Prime Minister being at its centre.
With the catchphrase 'Dilli ke dil me hai josh, Dilli ke dil me hai Modi', the party released broadcast videos, reaching out the masses abide. The earlier party slogans like, ‘Mein bhi Chowkidaar’, ‘Phir ek baar, Modi Sarkaar’, ‘Nayi soch, Nayi Ummid’, ‘Modi hai to mumkin hai’, and many more in the list, have already gained a high level of momentum.
The placement of Modi at the centre of its campaign underlines BJP's thrust to transcend local issues and make the choice for people all about its main leader whose popularity, it believes, will help it rise above city-specific concerns and debate over candidates.
In all the contained five phases of the LS election underway, enthusiasm of the voter’s aligned has remained notable. All the seven Lok Sabha seats of Delhi will go to the polls in the sixth phase of the general election on May 12. With the end of the third last phase, the voter cent turns out to be 52.08 per cent.
