Kolkata, May 31: A definite nightmare for Mamata Didi! Terrified as she behaves, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee gets perpetuated and abusive when someone chants ‘Jai Shree Ram’. Losing her cool and turning as abusive as she can, Mamata Banerjee on Thursday reprimanded people chanting 'Jai Shri Ram' slogan at her convoy at North 24, Parganas, claiming that they were BJP people and termed them as "criminals".
Angry and irritated, Mamata Banerjee stormed out of her car and started scolding people as they continued their chants. She alleged saying, “They are BJP people and criminals from outside the state. These are all outsiders and BJP people, they are criminals and were abusing me. They are not from Bengal.”
West Bengal Chief Minister seems to have some aversion to the name of Lord Ram and therefore she often loses her cool if she hears someone chanting the name of Lord Ram. While the people were chanting Lord Ram’s name, Mamata Banerjee ordered the police officials present there to collect the names of people who chanted the slogan and to pick them up from their homes.
The incident happened twice. When finally her convoy started leaving the spot, the crowd there started shouting ‘Modi, Modi’ this time.
This is not the first time that Mamata has reacted like this to the chants of Jai Shri Ram. A video of hers had gone viral earlier this month in which she was seen confronting people Jai Shri Ram in a similar way.
