Golden Chapters of New India begins, Narendra Modi becomes the Prime Minister of India

New Delhi, May 30: Amid the loud chanting ‘Modi Modi’ which came across from the audience clearly indicates the love for the charismatic leader Narendra Modi. Taking an oath at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Narendra Damodardas Modi becomes the new Prime Minister of India for the second consecutive term. Terming it as an historical event, BJP is the only party which has won with a thumping majority in the general elections.

Standing on the splendid stage of the Rashtrapati Bhavan in the gallery outside the Darbar Hall in New Delhi, Narendra Modi with the words “Main Narendra Damodardas Modi Ishwar Ki Shapath Leta Hoon...” took oath as the Prime Minister writing the golden chapter of new India.

 

The oath was administered as per protocol by President Ram Nath Kovind. A cheerful call for Prime Minster, Modi was greeted with ‘Modi Modi’ slogans as he entered the Rashtrapati Bhavan while wearing a white kurta-paijama and a Modi jacket.

 

The special swearing-in ceremony was the biggest event in the history of the Rashtrapati Bhavan with over 8,000 delegates in attendance. Prime Minister Modi stormed back to power on 23 May with a historic mandate of 303 seats just for the BJP. Along with Prime Minister Modi, top politicians like Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Ravi Shankar Prasad and Nirmala Sitharaman take oath as Ministers.

Unfurling the red carpet, the BIMSTEC nations (Neighbouring Nations) leaders stepped in to support BJP leader Narendra Modi signifying strong friendship bond. UPA Chairpersons Sonia Gandhi, Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh are some of the top members of Indian politics who attended the swearing ceremony.

Among the entertainment industry, superstar Rajnikant, Shahid Kapoor, Jeetendra, Anupam Kher are some of the celebs witnessed at the ceremony.
