Building Indo-China Cultural bonds, Indian authentic dance forms tread the boards in China

New Delhi, APril 29: Fostering Indian culture, traditions and the rich civilization beyond seas, the Indian Embassy in China moved up showcasing Classical Indian and contemporary dance forms in China. This event was in collaboration with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations at the national capital.

 
The event organised by China Arts Association at the Beijing Parade meant to foster Indian Classical dance form of Kathakali, Mujra, Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi and Odissi apart from the contemporary dance genre, developed during the mid twentieth century, becoming the dominant art forms ahead.
The said occasion was graced by the Indian Ambassador to China Vikram Misri and Ms Ruo Hua, Director of Jintai Museum at Chaoyang Park which hosts a magnificent Gandhi Statue, informed the embassy using social media.
 
ICCR at New Delhi aims to encourage and strengthen cultural relations and mutual understanding and to promote cultural exchanges with other countries and people.
