After Brave Battle of Saragarhi, Akshay Kumar all set with ‘bullet for a bullet’ for ‘Sooryavanshi’ releasing on Eid 2020..!

March 5: After his successful portrayal of a Sardar in ‘Kesari’, fan favourite Akshay Kumar will now be seen portraying a cop onscreen as his forthcoming film ‘Sooryavanshi’ is all set to release on Eid 2020.

 

The success of the film will definitely be watched for as ‘Sooryavanshi’ is directed by Bollywood’s 100 crore club director Rohit Shetty and produced by Bollywood Biggie Karan Johar.

 

With these three names attached to the film, there is no wonder if the film soon becomes the talk of the town! Akshay, who is also co-producing the film, shared two posters announcing the film’s release on his social media accounts.

 

His character named ATS officer Veer Sooryavanshi was officially introduced in Rohit's last release ‘Simmba’ in the post-climax scene. Although it is Akshay and Rohit’s first project together, ‘Sooryavanshi’ will be the third series in Rohit's cop universe after ‘Singham’ and ‘Simmba’, both of which went on to become Box Office hits for the director.

 

‘Simba’ star Ranveer Singh too doffed his hat to Akshay and posted the film’s poster on his twitter.

 

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is currently making rounds with the trailer of his upcoming film ‘Kesari’ where he will be seen as one of the 21 brave Sikh soldiers in the historic battle of Saragrhi. Akshay recently posted a video of him tuning to a song from the film. ‘Kesari’ will release on March 21.
