New Delhi, December 17: In a first-ever move since its inception, the Sports Authority of India (SAI) has decided to crowd source its logo. Sports fans and design enthusiasts from all over the country are being invited to send in their entries.
As per a press release by the SAI, a contest is being organized where the sports fans can unleash their creativity and create and send a graphic from their vast den of imagination. The winner will be felicitated richly.
SAI has laid down certain conditions for logo. The logo should have a sporty feel to it. It should be in 3 colour variants – orange, green, black (SAI colour scheme). Besides, it should have a sport-specific typography but one that is not used by other major brands.
The deadline to send the logo is January 15, 2020.

It aims at Talent Scouting at micro level & Nurturing talent towards excellence, Training & International Exposure, Support Training with Scientific & Sports Equipment and scientific personnel, Monitor and enhance Performance with a scientific evaluation system, Training and preparation of National teams, Sports Infrastructure Development & Maintenance, Maintenance and up gradation of 4 stadia complexes and a shooting range in Delhi and To produce coaches and physical educationists of high caliber in different disciplines of sports to broad base sports .
