Ranchi starts up public bicycle sharing station to save fuel and environment

Ranchi, March 29: Ranchi has started an innovative way of transportation which can save fuel and environment too. The public cycle sharing service will soon start at Ranchi. A cycle station will be started from Kanke Road.

In this regard, Additional Chief Secretary of the Government, Urban Development, and Housing Department Arun Kumar Singh said that this special initiative of the government is to facilitate the general public.

 

This will get rid of the roads of the capital, as well as environmental pollution. It is expected that the people of the capital will take full advantage of it. He said that people are also expected that they will not be able to harm the expensive bicycles. Regarding the service, State Urban Development Authority Director Rajesh Sharma said that with 600 cycles this service will be started from Ranchi.

30 per day subscription

Monthly subscription Rs 200

Annual Subscription Rs.1000

Duration duty

Free up to 30 minutes free

5 rupees for 30 to 59 minutes

10 to 60 to 119 minutes

15 hours per hour after 2 hours

 

For this, the construction of more than 100 cycle stations is being done on Thursday. Significantly, this work has been allotted to Ahmedabad-based company Chartered Speed Private Limited.
