Tripura Assembly hears National Anthem for the first time after demolishing fortress of the Lefts

Agartala, March 24: Every Indian will get tears in his or her eyes by hearing this news that from the date our nation got independence, Tripura State Assembly has not played our National Anthem ever in the house. But many things are changing now as the government changes in Tripura. 'National Anthem' was sung for the first time in Tripura assembly. Actually, on Friday, the assembly session was to be held in the first session of the Assembly, in which Rebati Mohan Das was elected as the new Speaker. Before the commencement of the proceedings, 11th National Assembly was started in the Assembly.

In Tripura, BJP had demolished the fortress of Left-controlled power for 25 years. In Tripura since 1978 only the Left has been away from power only once during 1988-93. CPI-M has been occupied for 25 years since 1993 and since 1998, Manik Sarkar was Chief Minister of Tripura. In the 2013 assembly elections, Left occupied 50 seats in 60 seats and Congress got 10 seats. While the BJP could not even open its account. In 2018, BJP has captured 35 seats.

 

This was the first time that the National Anthem was run in the House. House Secretary Bamdeb Majumdar said that he would try to run the national anthem every day. He said that he does not know whether the national anthem runs in any other house or not. CPM legislator Badal Chaudhary said that before doing so, the matter was not discussed with the opposition.
