After Rajinikanth, Anirudh Ravichander to work with Kamal Haasan; confirms Indian 2

Chennai, Dec 11: After working with Superstar Rajinikanth, Young and dynamic Composer Anirudh Ravichander is all set for Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s upcoming movie Indian 2. In his recent media interaction, the ace music director confirmed that he is a part of director S Shankar’s much anticipated political drama.

The Rockstar composer is currently gearing up for Superstar Rajinikanth’s 165th multi-starrer outing Petta. Karthik Subbaraj’s Petta is the first collaboration of Superstar Rajinikanth and Anirudh.

Indian 2 will be the Anirudh’s first project with Kamal Haasan and Shankar. Basking in the Success of Rajinikanth -Akshay Kumar 2.0, Shankar will kick-off Indian 2 from December 14. The project will be bankrolled by Lyca Productions.

After 25 years, Indian 2 will mark the reunion of veteran filmmaker Shankar and Kamal Haasan. Actress Kajal Aggarwal has been confirmed as a leading lady. Recently, the actor turned politician announced that Indian 2 will be his last offering.

Indian 2 is a sequel to 1996 National Film Award-winning social drama which narrates the story of a freedom fighter Senathipathi who fight against the corrupt system. Besides Kamal, the film also starred actress Manisha Koirala and Urmila Matondkar.
