Mumbai, December 8: Condemning the hate campaign against Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika Padukone who is helming the titular role in the epic dram Padmavati, veteran actress Kangana Ranaut opined that instead of targeting individuals, society must unite against the orthodox mindset where fringe elements are targeting people from the film fraternity. Kangana, who recently turned down the signature campaign of Shabana Azmi, has voiced her support for team Padmavati.
Speaking to the media on the occasion of Reebok's Fit to fight award function, the national award winning artist recalled her personal journey where she had faced similar animosity during her faceoff with actor Hrithik Roshan. The queen actress underlined that cinema is the powerful medium of storytelling with immense emotional attachment.
