Udaipur, December 26: Vishvaraj Singh, member of erstwhile royal of Udaipur who was approached by the by Central Board of Film Certification in-charge Prasoon Joshi to attend the screening of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama ‘Padmavati’ has clarified that he would respond positively to the request of CBFC officials only after the appropriate response to his queries on content.

The royal family member also questioned the authority of the content released by the presenters of Padmavati. He further added that people of Rajasthan won’t tolerate the distraction of history under any circumstances. According to media reports, veteran lyricist and CBFC chairman Prasoon Joshi on Thursday requested Vishvaraj Singh to attend the meeting with CBFC panelist in order to finalize the certification of Deepika Padukone starrer Padmavati.
