Kolkata, December 1: The controversy surrounding the logo of Biswa Bangla is rising day by day. While it is presented as State’s enterprise BJP leader Mukul Roy earlier claimed that Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek owned the rights to the Biswa Bangla brand and logo. Though Bengal government denied the claim, they could not give a clear picture of its establishment. Against this backdrop, BJP leader Mukul Roy on Thursday demanded a thorough probe into the logo.

BJP leader Mukul Roy in his first rally from BJP stage mentioned various scams of Bengal government led by Mamata Banerjee. But Mamata Banerjee later denied the claim. “It is my dream; I gave it to the state government free of cost because dreams are never sold. The state government can use it for as long as it desires. If it lets go of it, it will come back to me," she told the Assembly.

Replying to Mamata’s statement Mukul Roy said everyone needs to know the truth. "The chief minister said she was the creator of the Biswa Bangla logo and had voluntarily, unconditionally given it to the state government. So, there should be an agreement. Where is it? When and where was it signed?" asked Roy.

Hence based on all such confusions, Mukul Roy demanded an investigation by an independent agency. He thinks people deserve to know the truth.
