New Delhi, November 3: India’s Badminton Player Kidambi Srikanth has achieved the career-best World Ranking of Number 2 in the latest BWF ranking by jumping two places up. Srikanth has a tremendous run this year by clinching four titles out of five.
The 25- year old has total points of 73,403 in 12 tournaments while the world number one Viktor Axelsen of Denmark has 77,930 points in 13 tournaments. He had won back to back titles in Indonesia and Australia and then at Denmark and France.
Three more Indians have made their way in the Top-20 of BWF rankings. Prannoy HS is on 11th ranking. Sai Praneeth B is on 16th while Sameer Verma is at 18th rank. Other than these Ajay Jayaram is on the 22nd rank of BWF ranking of men’s singles.
In women's singles, P V Sindhu is steady at World No. 2 while former World No. 1 Saina Nehwal was also static at the 11th spot.
