New Delhi, November 20: Rajasthan is considered amongst the best and hot tourist destination of the country and therefore it has bagged the Best Wedding Destination in India at India's Best Awards 2017, which was held in New Delhi on Friday, last week.
Notably, Rajasthan Tourism has been adjourned the Best Wedding Destination in India at India's Best Awards 2017 by Travel+Leisure India and South Asia. Interestingly, the awards based on readers experience is a testimony to the unmatched experience offered to couples by the state in terms of forts, palaces, gardens and courtyards, making Rajasthan the ultimate destination for a fairy-tale destination wedding.
Recently, Rajasthan Tourism was also conferred with an award for outstanding Marketing Innovation at the 5th WTTCCI-Hotelivate State Ranking Survey 2017 held on November 14, 2017 in New Delhi for integrated marketing campaign to attract domestic and international tourists to Rajasthan via website/social media outreach and promotion on mass mediums through the Jaane Kya Dikh Jaaye campaign.
Earlier, in September this year, President Ram Nath Kovind awarded the highly popular Jaane Kya Dikh Jaaye television ad campaign of Rajasthan Tourism with National Tourism Award under the category of 'Best Tourism Film' at National Tourism Awards 2015-16 held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. However, Rajasthan also bagged another prestigious National Tourism Award under 'Best State - Comprehensive Development of Tourism' for standing runner-up in the category.
Importantly, these awards are recognition of Rajasthan Tourism's on-going efforts to make Rajasthan one of the most favoured destinations of choice for tourists around the world and these awards are also a testimony to Rajasthan's tourism-friendly policy initiatives.
