Karnataka BJP forms manifesto committee for upcoming polls

Bengaluru, Oct 4: In order to recoup the turf of Karnataka, BJP is all set for the most prestigious assembly polls scheduled in 2018. In a bid to counter the incumbent Congress government under the leadership of Siddaramaiah, the principal opposition party has announced the 17-member manifesto committee.

The political think tank will brainstorm on the policy matter for the upcoming state legislative elections under the Chairmanship of senior leader and Rajajinagar MLA S. Suresh Kumar.


 

As reported by The Hindu, the former law minister who heads the panel stated that after a due consultation with the experts from all walks of life, the committee will take the final decision. Calling it a democratic script the leader mentioned that BJP will be targeting 150 of the total 224 Assembly segments in the state.
